About to buy this setup - what do you think?

For the sub, is stepping up from the PDR-10 to the PS1000 (in the Paradigm line) would be a good choice? I want to stay with Paradigm because my local store got good prices on them an I prefer not to order online.

About to buy this setup - what do you think?

My room is 11 x 17. I really can't go to the Studio 20 for the surrounds, the budget simply won't allow it. For the sub, I keep reading good things on SVS. Which model do you recommend for about the same price as the Paradigm PDR-12? Are they available in Canada? For SVS I don't know but I think...

About to buy this setup - what do you think?

After a lot of research, I've pretty much decided on this 5.1 setup: (I should make my purchase next tuesday) - Paradigm Studio 20 for the L/R fronts - Paradigm CC-470 center - Paradigm Atoms for surrounds - Paradigm PDR-12 subwoofer - Cambridge Azur 540r (version 2.0 with the OSD) -...

    Stupid A/V input question

    Stupid A/V input question

I'm sure this will be a simple question for a lot of you. On a AV receiver, can we hook up more than 1 video source on the same input label? For example, I connect a LD player on the composite video input labeled "DVD" and I connect a cable box via S-Video on the S-Video input also labeled...

    Yet another Paradigm dilemma

So you mean that distributing the center channel sound to the L/R speakers would be better than to have a lesser center (CC170, CC270 or CC370) ?

    Yet another Paradigm dilemma

The prices I got for the Studio line (in Canadian funds) Studio 20: ~1000 $ Studio 40: ~1400 $ Studio 60: ~1900 $ Studio 100: ~2800 $ The price difference between the 60 and the 100 model makes me wonder if there ever was a Studio 80...

    Yet another Paradigm dilemma

I am looking closely at the Paradigm line of speakers. Based on opinions on this forum, I am very interested in getting the Studio 20 for front L/R. But that would mean stretching my allocated budget for speakers so there will be less money left for surrounds, center or sub. The Paradigm...
