    A little more info: When i rotated the sub to make it face the wall, the port was around a foot from the wall. The sub is placed in a corner of the room.

    Ok, I recalculated just the cables and they are actually closer to $300. I suppose i over exagurated. From my Car Audio experience ive found quality cables to make quite a difference. My Audio System ran $2500.
