Does anyone know if MGM is planning to release these dvds individually?

What's the deal with this dvd? Is it really out now? I've been to Bestbuy, Suncoast, Target, and Wal-Mart looking for this movie. Only one person told me that it's been released, but that they haven't received any copies yet (Bestbuy). Has anyone found this in a retail store?

I thought the superbit series had enhanced transfers. I honestly thought the first Spider-Man disc could have had a better transfer, there was quite a bit of grain in the film.

Has anyone had a problem with the glue on the back of this dvd set? When I pulled the frankenstein plate off of the dvd, this sticky glue was all over the dvd case. I just put the plate back on. Has anyone found a way to get this glue off without ruining the case?

George Romero is, and always will be the KING of zombie movies. I have yet to see a zombie movie that comes close to his trilogy. Here's hoping the master gets one more chance to make another masterpiece!

Well, I couldn't find anything on the web. I know for a fact that I've read somewhere that this dvd would be coming soon. I believe 20th Century Fox owns the rights to this movie. So I believe they're the ones you need to talk to if you want to see this movie on dvd.

I don't know who has the rights to this film, but I know for a fact that I've read somewhere that a region 1 dvd is supposed to be released soon. I'll look around and see if I can find a link.

I own Halloween on dvd already and I am a pretty big fan. I've never gotten around to buying the Divimax edition because the DVD I have isn't that bad. Is the Divimax edition that much better than the original dvd release?

Ok, I just got done talking to someone who works at Bestbuy. He told me that the disc won't be available on Tuesday because the discs have been recalled. However, he told me a new release date will be set for April, and that this will be a director's cut. Hopefully this is true.

Amazon.com has January 1, 2010 as the release date for this dvd. I thought that was pretty weird. I was also told by numerous people that this is a legal issue. One of the guys that told me this knows his stuff pretty well.
