I have the following equipment: JVC DLA-RS1 projector. Onkyo TX-NR807 AV Receiver. Onkyo DV-BD507 blu-ray disc player. Connections from one to the other are HDMI cables. With the projector off, the blu-ray audio seems to be fine. However, as soon as the projector lamp lights up, the...
Thanks for your fast response. I also appreciate the comment regarding the drop in ohms getting closer to a short circuit. I had not thought of it that way. If I set each volume control at 8 ohms what is the net result when one set (each set being left and right 8 ohm speakers) is on line and...
Bob: Thanks for your response. I guess I did not make myself clear. I want to control two sets of 8 ohm outdoor speakers and intend to run one line from the B side of my receiver to a separate A or B and A+B selector switch (one device that allows either or both sets of speakers to be on...
I want to wire two sets of 8 ohm outdoor speakers and need help with an impedance question. I intend to wire to a A, B, and A+B selector switch. Then wire an impedance matching volume control to the A set of speakers and an impedance matching volume control to the B set of speakers. At times...
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work. Nothing makes the IR543 respond. I have even tried running through all the codes and the IR 543 still does not turn off or on.
Thanks Mike: I will try it. I may have missed a step. I have gone directly to AUX in setup and tried to enter the number. I will let you know how I make out.
I have tried to enter the codes but the IR543 does not respond. I assume I am doing something wrong. Can someone take me through the steps to program the MX-600?
I can't get my MX-600 to operate an IR543. Does anyone know the RF code to operate the IR543 (the instructions with the IR543 say enter 167, but nothing happens). In addition, what are the steps to make it work?
In order to control X-10 devices (wall switches, lamp modules and possibly a power bar)with the MX-600 is it necessary to use the IR543 (converting RF to IR) or can the MX-600 control the X-10 devices directly? Or, is there another X-10 controller which will accept MX-600 RF signals directly...
Good idea. The projector mount will be suspended from an 1.5 inch pipe and the cables could be routed through the pipe. What I was looking for was a suggestion for access. The trap door idea is great. Now that I think of it, I might use the kind of access panel that can be purchased at...
I am looking for suggestions on how best to bring projector cables out of a ceiling, with the capability of easily re-opening the ceiling if new cabling or upgrades are required. Has anyone thought of anything clever?
I have recently purchased a Mitsubishi XD300U projector and am confused about the bulb life. I have seen descriptions of both 4000 hours and 1500 hours. Which is correct? Is there a way to switch to an economy level of brightness to extend the life of the bulb? If so, I have not seen this...
