Has anyone ever experienced a volume loss with their 3802? Over the past couple of months it seems to require turning the volume up significantly more to achieve the same volume level. In the past, watching Shrek with the receiver volume set around -30db was plenty; now we need to go to -20db...
The manual says the multi-zone speakers will not output a digital signal. Does this mean I can't use my DVD player as a CD changer and hear it outside? Thanks.
I have a Denon 3802 set up for 5.1 sound in the den. I finally got my N26's installed on the porch as the "Multi-Zone" speakers. Is there any way to turn them OFF? From reading the Denon manual, it appears you can only turn the volume all the way down, but not cut the power completely. Any ideas?
Help! Need help wiring HT system, and am a little lost on exactly what I need. Components I currently have are Denon 3802, Panasonic SVHS, Panasonic CP72, and Sony 27" TV with S-video input (no component input). What cables do I need? Analog cable only - no satellite. Thanks for any help.:)
You also might want to check the HarmanAudio store on ebay. JBL sells remanufactured speakers on there with full warranty. Most of the S38's I've seen sell for around $230 a pair.
Thanks for the responses. I'm leaning closer to getting the Dahlquist system and adding a sub later, but I do have one other question. How awkward do the QX6's look mounted on the wall? They are a good bit larger than the AT fronts and I'm having to consider the WAF here. Thanks again.
I am currently looking for speakers to match with a Denon 3802 in a 20*17 room. 50/50 music/HT. I have talked with Marc at Audioshop about a Dahlquist system (QX6 fronts, QX5 rears, QX50 center, no sub) and also have the option of purchasing a slightly used Atlantic Tech T70 system (with sub)...
Anyone have either the T-70 or T-90 systems? If so, what are your opinions of them? I am looking (still) for a system to match up with a Denon 3802. Room size is 20*17 with a vaulted ceiling. Preferably need a system with fronts which are wall-mountable. I have also looked at Axiom, Aperion, and...
Recently ordered a 3802 from 6Ave and am looking to upgrade speakers as well. Room size is 20 x 17 with a vaulted ceiling. Need bookshelf speakers for mains (no towers). Would like to keep under $1200, if possible. I have been looking at Aperion, Ascend, Axiom (lots of "A's") and the JBL...
Thanks for the tips. Primary use will be for broadcast TV - VHS and DVD not quite as often. On the stand issue - we are having an entertainment center built, so size isn't really a consideration. Thanks for the help.
Newbie here with a question. Just ordered a Denon 3802 from 6Ave (thanks for the tip, everyone) and am wanting to upgrade TV's as well. For various reasons am not looking at projection and was interested in opinions between the Panasonic CT36HL42 vs Sony KV-36HS500 vs KV-36XBR800 vs any Hitachi...
