Robert, I'm leaning toward #2 as well. The convenience coupled with a good screen would outweigh trying to get a flat screen. Thanks to you and everyone else for your advice.
Torgny, Thanks for your response. I'm thinking of going with a pull down screen but read that the tensioned screen (I'm looking at the Dalite Deluxe Model B) still does not stop wrinkles. I'm thinking of painting a black border as aesthetically as possible and then centering and hanging...
Hello, I posted this on avsforum but didn't get any answers. I'm trying to come up with a screen solution to go with my ae300. The wall onto which I'm projecting has to do double duty as a home theater wall, and as a living room wall (maybe framed with prints). I've thought of several...
I've read the many posts on BM and most are geared towards a Sat/Sub speaker setup. Is BM easier or more realizable without a subwoofer? That is with two large towers, a center, two bookshelves, and a subwoofer set to large, small, small, and none respectively. If the receiver indicates that the...
I guess I was refering to repainting/restaining an enclosure which originally has the standard black oak finish. I was thinking of first staining with the base stain color and then something darker to accentuate the grain. Maybe putting on the darker stain and then wiping it off, allowing the...

Hi, Does anyone know what the bandwidth for the component outs on the SA-HE200 are? I've read through the manual and have done searches here and elsewhere on the web but can't seem to find the value. I thought I read somewhere that it's 50 mhz but can't seem to find the reference. Thanks
Thanks Wayne. This gives me the idea of bulding a small slanted outcrop for the speakers at the correct angle. Sort of like a slanted ceiling but local to the speakers. I'm assuming they should be pointing approximately at ear level. Anil
Hi, This is my first post though I've been lurking around for the past year. Just want to say that this a great forum. I'm starting to put my home theater together and would like to ask a question on speaker placement. I'm planning on using towers for the front, and would prefer to use...
