I am considering a used MC-1 and am highly impressed by its logic 7 decoding when auditioning 5.1 materials. However this unit does not come with the latest decoding programs which frankly does not add much when you have Logic 7. I do not care much about DTS 6.1 Discrete or Neo 6.1 and others...

Hi I suggest getting an amp and use your yammie as a processor. The difference will be huge. I have just matched my denon with a rotel 5 channel and the improvement in sound is significant. This way you can keep your 5 channel for seperates down the road. Have Fun Dex
