Maybe a 22"-23" with built in DVD?

I'm really just looking to pick up a cheap LCD to use while I'm out of town in an apartment, then either bedroom or pc monitor use when I get home. I have narrowed it down to 2......I think! Any opinions on these, or other suggestions? Vizio VA26L 26" Toshiba 26AV500U 26"

Well, I bought the S-CenterII tonight. So, I guess I'll have to listen to it and see if I like it. I can always sell it if I don't like it right! We'll see.:)

Since the N and S centers are all discontinued, I can't really listen to two of them. I still don't think it would be too good to mix the two series across the front. I guess I could try the S-center, I was just wanting to hear from someone who had tried to mix the two. I kinda liked the EC-35...

The 601 Refurb is 299.88 plus shipping @329.58 total. The 601 non-refurb is on sale for 399.88 w/free shipping.

I already took care of that. That is why I'm getting new stuff. I can get it replaced if lightening strikes this time. So, any suggestions?

What would be a better deal, the Harman avr-325, avr-230, or the onkyo tx-s601? They are all in my price range. I'm just haveing problems narrowing it down. Please help! I'm about to get something. I haven't really looked at the HK, but they don't look too bad. Thanks, Tim

So do you think the Onkyo 501 will be as good as the pioneer 850 I used to have? I haven't dealt much with the 501. But the $200 price tag is real nice. I just don't want to get it and later wish I would have saved my money and got the poineer 912, or the Onkyo 601. Thanks, Tim

Hey Pablo, how does the 912 go with the nsp-1? That is the receiver I'm really leaning toward. The 850 I had was pretty good. I don't think I would be buying another one if I still had it! I think the 912 is a newer model of the 850. Hopefully I'll get something soon!

I was looking at the same setup. I decided to buy everything seperate because I wanted better speakers. I bought the D850S receiver, the JBL NSP-1 and 2 Sony SA-WM40 12"subs. I spent about $200 more than the 710, but I got some great deals on all these components.

I bought the Pioneer VSX-D850S at onecall.com. The final was about $320. I received it in about 3 days! Great deal. It has 7.1 input and 6.1 output. Alomg with a ton of features.

I bought 2 of the SA-WM40s the other day for $99 a piece!!:D I did get the last two at that price. I think they went back up to $149.
