Very nice sound cards indeed, but little bit out of my budget. I found Phillips card with optical input and 6.1 decoding for $75. Think I may go with that one. Ty.
I thinking of building my 1st HTPC. I'm just not sure what to use for a sound card. I know I want 5.1 decoding, but I want to be able to plug other devices into it as well, ie: XBox and use it to decode 5.1 sound. Can anyone tell me what cards might do this?
I notice most new DVD players will play CDR and CD-RW disc now. I can hook up my camcorder to my PC and do video editing and such. I normally just dump it back onto tape to share with friends and family. I was wondering If I upgrade to one of this new CDR readable DVD players, can I burn my home...
Turn down your brightness and contrest some and you shouldnt have a problem. You more like to have problems with CNN and other tv channels with tickers. Just think that clock and upperleft hand conoer of football game causes more risk then any video game as well when it comes to burn in.
Oh, I thought the XBox support 1080i just fine, just that no games where out at this time....asking because i was thinking of returning my Xbox and making HTPC
Playing Halo at my friends friend house and loved it.
Just after playing a short while I got to the part where
I rescue the captain...Question is, is there ALOT more to
the game? Or if I rent for 1 week I should be able to
beat it? Doesn't seem like this game has alot of re play once...
