Did the same thing in my basement years ago and had great results. The KEY is getting the floor CLEAN. Vacuum real good then scrub that cement with soap and water. Then let it dry real good for a day or two. I thought the adhesive that came on them was plenty strong. Good luck.
Basically I was telling my story how we listed the house by owner a few weeks ago, got a good amount of people coming through and calls, but not one offer. We have one of the most expensive houses in the neighborhood which was built in 99', because we have a treed, cud-de-sac lot, and a finished...
Hey, I bought an electric 'Karcher' power washer at Lowes for 110.00 and its great. Its 1400 psi and when I did my deck if I held it too close it would take out small chunks of wood so be carefull. But the electric models are nice, low cost and one less thing with gas and oil to worry about.
I was in the same boat 3 years ago. I ended up buying a 96 Contour V6 with 70,000 miles on it for 5000.00. Great decision. In three years Ive had 1 repair for a water pump for 300.00. Changed my own brake pads and run Mobil 1 oil every 6000 miles. The car has 115,000 on it now and gets me to...
Eric, great reply, you sound like a realtor!! LOL! Scott, right now were off Geddes rd. between Beck and Canton Center. Our home is 1950 sq. ft., but the their only brick fronts(siding on the other 3 sides), and the lots are small-60 foot wide. We figure we could get about 280,000 or so. We...
Hello all. Well Im currently in my 2nd house where I planned to stay for another few years(Ive been in for 4). But now the wife and I are thinking now might be the time to move into our 3rd and final home as the rates are so great right now. The problem is I just finished the house. It was...
Hey Jeff, nobody 'gloated' when we smoked the Cunucks 4 straight last year!! relax and enjoy your last game of the season!! Anyway, heres my take of the Wings,Ducks: First of all Giggy outplayed Joseph. Cujo gave up a bad goal every game and being that they were all one goal games, well he...
Adam, Well the volume is a conventional dial control with numbers that count from 0 to 80(loudest). The reciever is only 6 months old...its nothing I havent noticed before, Im just wondering what the hell it is...
Just wondering what could be causing this: When Im adjusting the volume through the mid to upper ranges on my Integra(Energy speakers) reciever, I hear slight static pops through each db increment especially if i go up or down rapidly through the middle range of the volume dial. Kinda like "fft...
Just wondering if you can paint the threaded rod and washer/nut hardware before assembly without having trouble getting the nuts on or chipping the paint on the threaded rods...thanks! Also is there a anti-vibration advantage to using MFD as opposed to plywood??
Hey guys, well Im going to order either the Panamax 4300 or the Tripplite Isobar6DBS tonight and just wanted to know if there was any reason to spend the extra dough on the Panamax. The Tripplite is about 60 with the Panamax about double or so, with the only obvious advantage being a...
Thanks for the info Bill. Since the two units seem very similar Ill probably go with the Tripp-Lite and save a few bucks. Would like to know your opinion on aftermarket power cords as well as Ive been checking out old threads on here about them. A noticable tweak, or a total waste of money...
Hey guys got a question...The Panamax shows the EMI/RFI filtering at '50 db' while the Tripp Lite Isobar6 shows the same filtering spec to be '>40-80 db'.
Any help on what these numbers mean and which is better would be great!!
Hey John, any more comments about the Panamax 4300?? Ive been debating between the Panamax and the Tripp Lite Isobar...I know the Panamax is double the money, does anyone think there is an audible difference?? Any other suggestions? Im running...
Stereoland IS great!! I got my Energys there,(Take 5.2 set and the C5 towers), for a steal compared to US pricing. Went back a few months later and hooked a buddy up with a nice PSB Image set-up...Great store, no pressure, no crowds, just a cool atmosphere.
Mine has no problems detecting DD or Dts at all. Like I said movies are awesome on it! Also would like to add that it remembers your settings for each input. For example I have my cable TV routed to VIDEO 2. I like to listen to cable through the 5 channel surround. So when I switch to VIDEO 2...
Im running my 5.3 with Energy C5s in front, and Take 2.2s in the rear. I LOVE the Integra and always wonder why it doesnt get more love around here! It totally rocks the energys with a neutral, detailed sound. I compared it with the Denon 2802 and liked the 5.3 better. The remote is best in...
Well maybe its a Detroit area thing but based on what Ive seen at car shows and cruises I know I can get 15 for it. The car was a complete ground up restoration....the Candy apple red dont hurt either:D I dont know, this is such a hard decision. Obviously having 10 grand to move with is probably...
Thanks for the replies. I seems most people think I should hang on it it. How about this plan: Sell the car for 16-18k. Take 10k right to the bank towards my next house. With the remaining 6-8k pick up an early 90s LX Notchback 5.0(Which Ive always loved). Now I could have my Stang 'fix' for not...
Well I may just be crazy but Im considering selling my classic Mustang(67'fastback). Ive had the car 5 years now, but 2 children in my life now have really changed my thinking alot. Its a show quality car and all last summer I kept it covered damn near all the time. My kids are 1 and 2 so you...
Just wanted to add that I paid $550.00 for the 5.3, not much more than the Onkyo 600... As far as differences go inside, I have heard Integra uses stricter parts tolerances, and better made capacitors. But who knows for sure without opening both up and comparing. I still think the Integra is...
I have the Integra 5.3 and love it! Im running Energy C5s in front, with Take 2.2s for rears...The sound is clean and crisp. In two channel I can definitely rock out with the power and the sound kills my old Kenwood. I would decribe it as a strong low end bass with very clear treble as well. I...
I started with the Take 5.2 and just added the C5s for my fronts. This set up rocks for 2 channel now and for HT it sounds great too. I find there to be no problem timbre-wise at all. 5 channel stereo sounds better too because the C5s fill in that mid-bass that was a little thin before...
As a Michigan fan it pained me to root for OSU, but I did! I HATE Maimi just a little more!! Plus its great for the big ten. BTW, I think Michigan was a tougher game then Miami, we'll get ya next year, enjoy it!

Well, it looks pretty awesome to me! The actual newspaper today had 3 pics of it. More retro front end then current models, but overall a nice, sleek modern design. Cant wait to see it in person at the Auto Show...
I got a 67' fastback that might have a for sale sign on it very...
Stan, Ive listened to both when I bought my C5s. The differences between the two were small. The C7 seemed to sound a tad more brighter overall. Perhaps due to the smaller woofer configuration. They were to close in sound to warrant another two hundred bucks for me anyway.
That said I LOVE the...
Ive got the C5s hooked to an Integra 5.3 and Im very happy thusfar(1 week)
The C5s seem extremely detailed and clean in the high end. Imaging is excellent, I have them about 8' apart and the whole soundstage is right in front of you. Im running these at an 80 hz crossover w/sub and they blend...
I played a nice jazz station to my Energy C5s for 3 or 4 days straight(all night too) at a moderate volume. I like the jazz cuz theres a nice range of highs and lows....
