Man, there are a lot of songs missing that I would really like to see, especially those by the Style Council, Black Sabbath and Neil Young. A purchase of this will depend on what kind of deals the B&M stores are going to have.
Cees - my impression of that moment was always; Harmonica as a kid stood and held his brother up as long as he could until he finally collapsed. He uses his pain over his brother hanging to drive him for years until he finally gets revenge on Frank. My question is; what does Harmonica do after...
Wow - it is so nice to see all of the positive reaction on this film. It's the first movie poster I ever bought (would love to have a poster with the DVD cover), I own two versions of the soundtrack, I used to put my daughter to bed humming Jill's theme and have sang it's praises to others for...
I watched the movie and the first two documentaries. Simply put - amazing! Fantastic picture and sound. There were scenes that seemed brand new to me. One that stands out is the way station where we first meet Cheyenne. I never knew how many people where actually in that building - it was always...
Few people have heard of Departure Lounge, but I highly recommend them to a fan of any type of music; Departure Lounge Also check out Luna - brilliant stuff. Luna
I have anxiously awaited for this movie since I first bought a DVD player because The Good, The Bad and The Ugly DVD had additional scenes on it. Nov. 18 will be like a holiday for me. I can't wait.
Ron - my wall isn't 2 feet thick - the TV is!:D I will pick up the extra space by moving the TV behind the wall. It's not a load-bearing wall and is only drywall and exposed studs in back. Should be fairly simple, but would like to see other examples or read anyone's experience doing this.
I know I've seen this done by someone here, but can't find any examples doing a search. I have a small dedicated HT room in the basement and thought I might add a couple of feet by cutting a hole in my wall and placing my 61" Tosh WS behind it so only the screen protrudes from the wall. It's...
Speaking of original Japanese dialogue - Is it possible to get the original Japanese Godzilla (sans Raymond Burr)? With subtitles? I've always wanted to see it.
Just found this on Ebay. It's a Region 0 PAL DVD of Scott Speigel's "Intruder" - renamed "Night of the Intruder". Anyone know anything about this? Transfer any good? Description says it's region 0 but you need a PAL to NTSC converter to view it. What the heck is that? I have a personal...
OMG!!! This is the best DVD news I've heard in quite a while. OUATITW is probably my favorite movie of all time. Alex Cox's involvement is great news as well. I just picked up The Great Silence and he has an interview on the disc as well as commentary on the alternate "happy ending" Great...
Well - after a little investigation it seems it doesn't come apart. I called a service center, then located the service manual online. I can disassemble it; remove the grill, control panel, screen - maybe even the light box. The cabinet will be left, which I assume would be much more...
Any opinions on wall mount speakers? I need to put two speakers high on opposite walls near a bar area in my basement. No subwoofer is possible in this area. I have a pair of JL N24's on my deck outside, and they are ok. Price range under $500 or so for the pair. Any thoughts?
Thanks guys. I'd hate to have my basement HT finished with no TV to watch - although I could use that excuse to tell my wife we need to buy a big 'ol plasma!
Cutting the treads might be my last resort. I might be able to tip the TV on it's side and maneuver it down, but what type of problems do I induce by doing this? Is this something I definitely shouldn't do? Anyone know for sure if it does or doesn't separate into two pieces? - I'd rather not saw...
Not sure if this is where my post belongs or not.. I'm currently finishing my basement and was wondering if anyone had any advice for getting my Toshiba 65HDX82 downstairs. I thought I had read that the TV could be separated into 2 pieces. Anybody had any experience with this - any advice? Jim
Thanks for the link Anthony. Now if I was only fluent in Japanese! I do like how they refer to it as a "Macaroni Western"
Looks great - hope if comes out in Region 1 sometime!:D
Wow! Where's this info from? For me it's Leone and everyone else - nothing even comes close. Death Rides a Horse, A Bullet For the General were fair. I thought Django was kind of a joke, but I was able to get through it. Still waiting to see the Great Silence.
My A40 arrived Friday. Now I just have to fight to have OfficeMax correctly bill me - they charged $50 too much. Looking forward to using the camera at Christmas.
