Bigger cable = less resistance. Bigger cable doesnt mean better sound quality. Better constructed cables or cables made of better materials mean better sq. Just because you use 12ga over 14ga, does NOT mean its going to sound BETTER. A jump to a larger cable will not sound better...

I have two brand new Stanton STR8-100 turntables for sale. I used then in my bedroom only a couple of times, and they are in PERFECT condition, but unfortunately, I have to sell them. Asking $300 per table.

Does your reciever have pre-amp level outputs? If so, I would probably buy a separate amp if you had the cash. ALthough, keep in mind that I do not have rockets....its just a preference of mine to have the mains on a seperate amp.:)
