Burn-in here one minute, gone the next???

Burn in affects the tubes not the screen, so it would not be visible with the tv turned off. Maybe the image was burned into your eyes and not the screen. In a darkened room, staring at a brightly lit screen, the image will imprint on your eyes...like staring at the sun then you see a big bright...

    Denon DVD-Audio/SACD

In the past few months,(have searched, came up empty), it seems to me I clicked a link in these very pages that talked about a DVD-Audio/SACD player that Denon is/was going to un-leash on the masses. If I remember correctly the link took me to a Denon Corp. page. Is this unit available? Anyone...

    Pro Logic bass

While of course DTS or DD is the preferred format Many of my 'digital' cable channels broadcast a Dolby 2.0 signal, which I use traditional Pro Logic to decode into surround. I know the center channel is culled from the two front channels by taking the shared information from each channel and...

    New SVS Ultra Driver

Are the Ultra's shipping with the new drivers yet? If not any word on when they will? This will be my gift to myself this X-mas. I was completly prepared to go with the new self-powered sub, but after reading the "listening review" from Paul at Home Theater Spot my mind has been changed, yet again.

    Adelphia hd?

I'm only now starting to seriously consider HDTV, just having got my first 'ready' model. The inherant distrust of "the cable guy" is one of the reasons I havn't bought a STB already. Plus with over 50 commericial free movie channels, I'm at like 110$ a month for tv, that look just incredible on...

    Adelphia hd?

The people at my local office assure me that their system passes the HD signal through if its being broadcast. For cable channels this should be no problem, as they all come to a local satalite for distribution along the network, but the local channels are captured by an antenna and fed into the...

Why 720p found only in high-end HDTVs?

Would I be correct in assuming TWC is Time Warner Cable, and that you are renting a box from them for cable use? Or am I compleatly off?
