Guys,
Does anyone know approximately about how many TV DVD season sets come out a year?
And how many of those would likely to be about "classic" television?
I guestimate that WB Archives releases about 45 TV seasons a year, and CBS Paramount about 18-20. Other odds and ends might release another 20 via MOD on Amazon and other sources.
Now, I'm not including current seasons that get released in the fall before the new television programs start, and if so that would add about another 50 to 60.
So by these rather loose computations, I'm guessing about 100 classic tv season sets a year. Can anybody add to this? Or point out something I'm missing.
