Hello all, new member here. :)

First of all this is not a "for sale" post, I'm simply seeking advice and knowledge from someone who knows more about this stuff than I do.

I have inherited an old (late '90s, early 2000s?) high-end Fosgate Audionics based theater system, and I need advice on determining both age and value of the system. It appears complete: surround processor, power amps, speakers, huge subs, equalizer, speaker selection boxes, projector, video distribution amps, cables, remotes, manuals, etc. It appears to be a system for a very large room, perhaps a studio screening room or something along those lines. It's all in decent condition, but its functional status is unknown. I'm planning on selling it but I have no idea what to ask or if it would be best to sell it as a package deal or separately.

I'll refrain from listing all the components and pics here for now, although I'll be happy to if requested. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post that info in as yet, so please point me in the right direction to get some info on this system. Thanks!

If the projector and distribution amp don't even have component video, they are paperweights. The surround processor. If analog only, it is a paperweight. If DD, $50. If DTS, $75.The rest, we need pictures.

Everything video here(including the Model Three A) are paperweights. Nobody has used any of this "tech" in an install in 15 years.

You might get somebody to pay $100 for that projector. Maybe.

The video amps. Nobody needs them.

The processor. Maybe a Lucas THX fan would buy it to have something cool sitting on a shelf. Reel 2 Reel are worth more than that thing.

The amps/speakers.

Those amps were the real deal. Few hundred bucks a piece. I've seen perfect ones sell in the $700-$900 range. That one does not appear perfect. $300-$500 each.

The two subs...since they are passive...are the drivers fine? If so...$150 each.

The surround speakers...maybe $500 total.

Is everything just dirty...or beat up?

It's pretty obvious this stuff is old and obsolete, that was never in question. I guess my age estimate is pretty accurate.

Just dusty and dirty. Apparently this stuff was stored somewhere where it gathered dust for awhile.

The Audiocontrol Bijou can have some decent value if it isn't in too bad of shape. Maybe +/- $200 on Audiogon. There are some people who can use it with the multi-ch analog inputs on Oppo 83se/95/105's etc. I sold one a few years ago (3-4 maybe) for $300. And a Rialto for $275.

Best system I've had so far was an H/K AVR 7200, Oppo 83se and Audiocontrol Rialto EQ.
