I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Looks like you guys missed the $10 Blu-Rays at Target: "The Great Save Event" sections shows Pelican Brief, A Time To Kill and Reservoir Dogs (and selected others) for $10. I belive the selected others are the ones I posted in the WRU a few weeks ago that were priced at $12 in the Seasonal area of the store:
"Here's a pretty complete list of the $12 BDs at Target:
The Omen (new version)
Phone Booth
Dude, Where's My Car?
Rest Stop
Me Myself and Irene
Batman The Movie
A Time To Kill
Entrapment
Cutthroat Island
Crank
Behind Enemy Lines
Chaos
The Getaway (McQueen)
Basic Instinct
Ninth Gate
Napoleon Dynamite "

One of my local stores had a ton on WWII in HD (BD) on the shelf yesterday. I don't know what would have happened if someone tried to buy one, but they were front and center on the shelf. And not in the TV on BD section, either. They were right above Wolverine...

Anyway, nothing for me this week. Aside from their lack of extras, the two JFK titles are well worth the time and money. I'm halfway through with Cowboys and Outlaws...another good one. And then it's onto WWII in HD.

I hadn't given any thought to Whip It until I saw the trailer on my 500 Days of Summer disc. It looks like fun and I will take the plunge. I also ordered WWII in HD. It doesn't look like you can go wrong for $20. Looking at the pricing every week, its encouraging to see day and date releases priced either the same for both DVD or BD or in some instances the BD is even priced less. There are still some exceptions, but it is nice to see most of them at parity or better.

Also, Disney is offering a $10 off coupon for the Surrogates Blu-Ray. This drops the price at most places to around $14.00.

Thanks, Eric & James for adding some nice info on the Target value BDs and the Surrogates coupon.

BTW, I saw, at my local Wal-mart, that Die Hard has been added to their $10 value BDs! Great deal for anyone who doesn't have one yet.

Adam - I am just getting over the worst cold I've experienced in years, but I am finishing up my review of WWII in HD on Blu, and you will not be disappointed. One of the very best WWII documentaries I have ever seen (and I have seen many)!

Awesome, Neil. I was telling Adam elsewhere that I am also intrigued by the release. I also look forward to your review.

I bit the bullet today and went ahead with a pre-order of The Music Man (Feb. 2) on amazon. They've had a $19.99 price on this title since it went up a few weeks ago.

I have wondered if there would be a price drop, maybe, before release day...but am most concerned if that price will be dropping within a few weeks after release date.

But it's a title I am interested-in enough that I will take that risk to have it day-and-date (or as close as amazon's free shipping will get it to me). I also would wonder if other retailers will be stocking this catalog title on release day. They should...but will they? I'd say that's a fair question on my part the way these things have gone in recent history. BTW, bestbuy.com is currently listing it at $24.99--not uncommon for their catalog BDs.

So...for piece of mind..I closed the deal.

^ You'd know better than me but I think $20 will be the best price you'll find right now. Last week, I found Magnolia (a similar title in that it's a Warners catalog release and it's got the same MSRP) at Best Buy but they only had three copies and I doubt they'll have huge numbers of The Music Man either. Overall, I think Amazon is your best bet for price and availability.

Mike-
I followed your lead on that one. I doubt the Best Buy in my neighborhood will stock it. Its not the kind of title we will see a price war over.

If you're a Barnes & Noble club member, you may be better off waiting for a better deal on the Music Man BD, especially if you also use Bing.com for (>=10%) cashback.

I did a quick google, and here is one place that lists a bunch of useful coupons for B&N (both in-store and online, and for non-members also):

http://www.dealigg.com/story-Barnes-Noble-coupons-Barnes-Noble-Coupon-Code

It's too bad though that the Music Man BD just happens to fall outside of B&N's current Buy-2-Get-1-Free sale (w/ a pretty large selection unlike most other non-B&N B2G1 sales), which apparently expires just before release day.

With membership discount and a frequently recurring 15%-off-one-item coupon on top of the sale, I ordered Galaxy Quest, Gremlins and the original Fame on BD for a total of $39.22+tax (w/ free shipping). And that's before counting the 10% cashback from Bing.com -- and using gift cards (from my Amex rewards points) to pay for the order.

They also apparently have another new $5-off-one-BD/DVD coupon for in-store purchase that would qualify -- and that can be combined w/ the $5-off-one-CD and $5-off-$50 coupons as well.

Currently, they have the Music Man BD preorder listed at $23.19 for non-members and $20.87 w/ normal member's discount -- basically the same price as a bunch of other Warner catalog titles like Gremlins and the original Fame (and also Magnolia, which is available in the B2G1 sale too).

Again, probably not great for non-members, but should be pretty good for B&N members, even if you don't wait for another sale that includes Music Man.

Personally, I'm also hoping B&N will run another Criterion 50%-off sale sometime in the next few months -- they've done it a couple times in the last ~6 months where the member's price came down to ~$17 each before applying any coupons, etc., and I managed to pick up a few titles for

FWIW, with the B&N deal, I may also see about picking up North By Northwest (finally), Magnolia and Atonement on BD for ~$42+tax (before 10% Bing cashback and use of Amex rewards-funded GCs).

I think I wanna rewatch Magnolia (on DVD) first though before deciding -- been too busy watching that big Lost BD set (from Amazon) lately w/ a tad less than 2 seasons left to go...

BTW, just noticed that B&N strangely lists this Pride & Prejudice w/ an R(???) rating -- must be a typo I guess.
