The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks for the Round Up. Funny Girl for me. I spent $14.99 for Silver Linings Playbook from iTunes, and that's enough.

Oh, and Cloud Atlas gets its digital release on Tuesday, two weeks before the blu-ray release.

Thanks Mike. I enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook when I saw it in the theater but even with the $5 BB trade in that's steep for me. With all my luck it will be $12.99 before I have a chance to watch my copy if I buy it now....

That's a tempting price at Target for STNG S3, especially considering the first two seasons were going for $52 each on Amazon.

I'm tempted at this point to cancel the Trek preorders on Amazon and just hit Target on Tuesday afternoon. Really, really tempted. That's a huge price disparity right now.

So at Best Buy wondering how it will work out:

TNG Season 3 + TNG BoBW - $10 off - Upgrade and Save $5 X 2 for $10 makes it $66.98 total for both.

HOWEVER - Best Buy is now promoting that they will price match with anyone - retail or online.

At Target's prices matched at Best Buy and with the $20 off that makes it $54.95 for both.

Very interesting....

Unless I am misreading the initial post and the $10 off when you buy both is a Target deal.

I don't know if BB would honor the $10 off from Target as a price match plus the $5 U/S per title. I've yet to test that new price match policy. That being said, I have cancelled the Amazon preorders as of right now. Either the BB or the Target deal are better right now...and if Amazon does their price match thing, I can reorder very quickly. I don't need to have either S3 or BoBW on Tuesday.

I cancelled my Amazon preorder as well and will be going to Target first thing Tuesday. I'm dying to get this; Season 3 has a lot of great episodes and it's when this series really found its legs.

Anyone getting the Best of Both Worlds separate release? It would be cool to have both parts edited together and this will have extras not on the S3 set.

Thanks, Mike. I've had Funny Girl preordered for a long time, so I'm looking forward to receiving it.

I'm slated to review Broken City this week, but I don't have the review disc yet.

I will be getting both release even though I'm not happy with the way both episodes were cut together. It almost feels slapdash and removes all the tension in the original two parter. A comparison is on YouTube:

No love for "The Vampire Lovers "? That's all I'm interested in this week. Hammer and Ingrid Pitt. What more does anyone need? :)

I'm getting both ... For one thing I can't wait until S4 for the "res"olution (pun intended as, of course, I have it on DVD).

And, like you, I'll be cancelling my Amazon preorders and running to Target Tuesday morning (Hope they have plenty available ...)!!

Sorry for not being absolutely clear. Target it is. And the OP is updated to reflect that.
