I'm not a fan of the zombie movies but I have to say, this one looks damn fun. I can't wait to see this movie.
"A human being is part of the whole called by us the Universe. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest --a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection...

Looks fun.

"And now the reprimand, from an American critic. He reproaches me for using film as a sacred & lasting medium, like a painting or a book. He does not believe that filmmaking is an inferior art, but he believes, and quite rightly, that a reel goes quickly, that the public are looking above all for relaxation, that film is fragile and that it is pretentious to express the power of one's soul by such ephemeral and delicate means, that Charlie Chaplin's or Buster Keaton's first films can only be seen on very rare and badly spoiled prints. I add that the cinema is making daily progress and that eventually films that we consider marvelous today will soon be forgotten because of new dimensions & colour. This is true. But for 4 weeks this film [The Blood of a Poet] has been shown to audiences that have been so attentive, so eager & so warm, that I wonder after all there is not an anonymous public who are looking for more than relaxation in the cinema." - Jean Cocteau, 1932

With this starting tomorrow I'm surprised there's not more talk. It's sitting at 83% on Rotten Tomatoes right now and is getting some really good reviews. I'll definitely be in line because I can't get enough zombie movies. :)

^^It's at the top of my list of a slew of good movies I hope to see this weekend.
"Because he's the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll hunt him... because he can take it... because he's not a hero... he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a DARK KNIGHT."

I really liked Jesse Eisenberg in The Squid and the Whale and Adventureland, good to see him branching out and doing something like this too.

This film should make a lot of money and it's really a good film.

^ I saw it this afternoon and the theater seemed fairly crowded. Plus, it seemed like the crowd dug it so word of mouth should be fairly good.

Great flick.  The cameo scene is great.

I really dug the main character "Ohio" i think was his name.  Woody did an excellent job also.  The scene where he meets the cameo person is freaking great!

Columbus was what they called him.

I kept thinking at the scene they tore the indian store apart "this will look AWESOME in Blueray"  :)  The intricate detail of small items flying around... awesome stuff ;)

In a weird way, this performance actually fits right in with the character schtick he established in those movies. He's still an intelligent, neurotic young dude with girl issues here. And as for the cameo:
This and his Get Smart cameos are the only Billy Murray-style roles Bill Murray's taken in years. I loved what his only regret turned out to be.

Saw it today and it was an entertaining movie, some very good stuff.  Gawd, that BM cameo is flipping hillarious, just awesome.  The theater was pretty packed at 7:20 tonight so it should do really well.
I have seen Larry David in action, and that man is an animal, and he has to be stopped.

We saw this last night - very funny movie. I loved the rules and how they kept coming up. I'm not a big Woody Harrelson fan but he was great in this movie.
