Until the End of the World by director Wim Wenders.

It recently had two "botched" releases in the UK and Australia (they forgot the film needed subtitles in the non-English parts of the film on the UK edition, and for some reason in Australia it was released in ye old fashioned 4:3 aspect ratio). A director as acclaimed as this deserves better. Criterion, where are you?

I'd also like Alan Arkin's comedy Simon.

Rumors and urban legends to the contrary, there are no known prints of LAM anywhere in the world. Maybe someday one will turn up, but all indications are this is a completely lost film. TCM did do a pretty effective recreation using stills. This is available on the Chaney DVD set WHV put out.

The Wizard of Speed and Time.
Movies I would purchase instantly if they were available in their correct aspect ratio:
Death Trap, Innocent Blood, The Shadow, and Remo Williams

The ones I'm still waiting for:

AT SWORD'S POINT
CAVALCADE
DANGEROUS MOONLIGHT
HARRY'S WAR
MILLION DOLLAR LEGS
any Wheeler & Wolsey movies

In addition, I'm waiting for a number of B-list series (Bowery Boys, Boston Blackie, Mexican Spitfire, etc.) to come to DVD, as well as the Columbia comedy shorts (other than the Three Stooges and Buster Keaton). On the cartoon front, I'd like to stay with Columbia and see the Fox & Crow cartoons on DVD.
THE GREAT DVD WISH LIST
TELEVISION: Dave Allen At Large, Department S (R1), The Goodies (R1), It Takes a Thief, Name Of the Game, Waterfront

MOVIES: At Sword's Point, Belles of St. Trinian's (R1), Cavalcade, Dangerous Moonlight, W.C Fields Collection (with MILLION DOLLAR LEGS)
