I am about to take delivery on a Mits WT42311 and I finally feel like I have a real HT setup. The question is should I go for the Sound and Vission or the Avia setup disk? The Avia costs considerably more than the S&V, is it really worth that much more?

In my opinion, no. Avia is a terrific disk, the cream of the crop, no disputing that. But S&V will also get the basic job done for most people.

If you really get the tweaking bug, Avia offers more by way of test patterns and such. It just depends on how deeply you get into tweaking your set.

I'll let others elaborate on how superior Avia is. It is better and they'll tell you how.

But S&V will get the basic job done.
