I assume we're picking only from the studios whose logos appear at the beginning?.

My list: (Never-before-available on Blu):

Fox

Von Ryan's Express

8 Million Ways To Die (CBS/Fox released on VHS) - not sure if Fox still has this one.

The Driver

Paramount

Breakdown

Escape From Alcatraz (remastered)

Dr. Terror's House of Horrors

Warner

Electric Dreams

Universal

Iceman

Death Becomes Her

They Live

Columbia

Candyman

Christine

The Seventh Sign

Disney

Can't Buy Me Love

Just One Of the Guys

Deep Rising

and even though MGM is not among the studios listed, I'd like to see these films get the Blu treatment:

Delta Force (a full-blown SE)

Runaway Train

The Last Man on Earth

I made it a point not to list double dips/stuff already released on Blu and films known to be coming soon.

My list above (post #18) needs the following amendments:

1) Danger: Diabolik was accidentally left off of the Paramount entry.

2) I forgot about the uncut, 100 min. version of One Million Years B.C. (1966) That would replace Journey To The Center Of The Earth on the FOX list if I have to be limited to 3.

Hard to add to as the list sort of adds up that among the replies some titles are coming up over and over again and most are my calls also. Singin' in the Rain is slotted as being on Blu Ray in 2012 and I am still awaiting the WB Showboat Blu & DVD box sets that were promised by George F for an anniversary of the stage show opening in 1927. No further word on that one. I believe Fox is planning or working on their Liz Taylor Cleopatra.

Yankee Doodle Dandy was one of the earliest in colorized editions but I am not wanting that one but a nice Blu Ray b&w would be welcome. With extras on Cohan etc added.

State Fair(1945). But a box with all three versions would be better. Never seen a release of the 1933 but it appears to have been restored.

Centennial Summer(1945). Fox. I have no idea why this has never been available before.

Any of the Fox color musicals, perhaps a box set with several would go down nice.

Oliver! Columbia musical.

I would also go for Columbia's Pepe with Cantinflas but it was not a box office success to my knowledge but I like the film and it has not had a Home video release to date.

It's all down to money and what's available, I guess
