As someone that counts Steven Spielberg as a favorite, I haven't seen The Color Purple, Empire of the Sun, The Sugarland Express, or Duel.

Well a week ago The Seven Samuari would have been at the top of the list. I had never seen the entire film only parts.

My Current List:
Once Upon a Time in the West
Yojimbo
Roman Holiday
Laura
The 39 Steps
Rope
The Lion King
La Dolce Vita and
Every Woody Allen after Interiors and before Mighty Aphrodite except Hannah

I also haven't seen:
The Goonies and
Back to the Future II & III
[but I'll freely admit that :)]

Havne't seen:

Scarface
The Thing
Halloween
Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th
Many, many classic silent films
Tons of Kurosawa flicks
Once Upon a Time in the West (I still plan on picking up the DVD though)
Many westerns
The early works of John Woo
Many Hitchcock films
And Many, many foreign films any film lover should have seen.

But if I live a healthy life, I think I still have about 50-60 years left to see them all. :D

Rob, you have a lot of great films listed there. I would love to be able to experience a lot of those for the first time again.

Martin, we're the same age and I'm not interested in most of those either.

Hate to be blunt but what was the point of some of you guys joining a film forum [okay home theater forum] if you haven't seen all those movies and couldn't care less if you see them or not? Maybe you're more into pop, or computer games? I'm not being sarccy just curious. One recent post mentions just about every well known film ever made, I mean what exactly are you guys watching, anime? ;)

As for me I still haven't seen Amelie (and not afraid to admit it), Vanilla Sky, Chicago, The Grinch, and a bunch of this years and last years biggies, but I will rent or catch 'em on cable eventually. I just don't go cinema as often as I used to, about once a month. Too lazy. :frowning:
