The BFI is well on with their Hitchcock restorations, but only for theatrical screenings as yet (they don't hold the home video rights). There's no indication when - or even if - they will appear on BD.
I can't wait to see "The Hitchcock 9":John Hodson said:The BFI is well on with their Hitchcock restorations, but only for theatrical screenings as yet (they don't hold the home video rights). There's no indication when - or even if - they will appear on BD.

I have several BD's from Sweden and Norway that state Region B on them, yet they play fine on my U.S. player. No guarantee, of course. I hear the David Lynch U.K. box from Universal is Region B locked.FrancisP said:Can we expect the set to be region free? Generally Universal releases their films region free. In Region 4, Universal released the McHale's Navy blu-rays region free. In region 2, Universal has released Psycho region free in the UK. Also their upcoming UK release of Airport is region free.
Hopefully this can be cleared up soon!mikeyhitchfan said:If this is the actual box set, why is NBNW and 39 Steps on there? It's released by Universal. Is this a 'complete' Hitchcock set?
Awesome!mikeyhitchfan said:List updated to include the U.S. box set coming 9/25/12!!
