Approaching 100mph in an Acura Integra in the middle of a work day. It's amazing I can go so fast, considering the amount of traffic we have in San Francisco Bay Area.

137 mph in my 1977 Datsun (Don't say Nissan) 280Z 2+2. Nicknamed, "The Co-How Mobile". Slightly beefed up. Wish I had pix. It was pretty special. It got stolen but was recovered. It was too trashed for me to rebuild it. Broke my heart.

Had the speedometer pegged at 120mph in my '69 Plymouth Roadrunner many times way back in my youth.

I was regularly hitting 120mph+ in my souped up Ford Capri back in the early 80's, behind the wheel of his V6 Capri, mild-mannered Steve, became ....

I don't know for certain. I was in high school and was drag racing my friend down the freeway (in Southern California) weaving in and out of traffic. I was in an omni with a speedometer topping out at 85 mph. I don't know how fast I was going, but the guy I beat was going over 120 mph. My mom's poor car was never the same after that.

When I was younger, a friend and I used to go out driving in his dad's car.
In Calgary, there is a highway that runs through the city called Deerfoot Trail. Late at night, when it was deserted, we used to do something we called the "Deerfoot 500." We would drive out to the city limits and see how fast we could get through the whole city.
The speedometer only went up to 140kph, but the needle was way past the guage. We estimate a top speed of 170kph.
Thinking back to all the shit we pulled in that car, it is amazing that I'm still alive.

115mph on Kawasaki Ninja 250. The road was clear and I could see several miles down it, so I figured, "Why not?" Was on an andrenaline rush for the next two hours.

It was a while ago but a friend of mine in high school was a car nut and put a 454 (I think that's the number) police interceptor engine into a Thunderbird. The speedometer went completely around and we estimated that we were going +/- 175 mph. Seriously. The needle blew right past 140 mph on the speedometer. Scared the shit out of me.

I rented an Opel in Frankfurt and toured Europe in it. A couple of times I got the speedometer up to 210 Kph--I think that is about 130 MPH, but I'm not sure...

Just today I did some tweaking on my Hot Rod Dodge Dart(just quit smoking gotta keep busy) Took it out on HWY 1 and pushed her up to around 125+ mph.
But my Dart is set up for Drag Racing and my 3.91 gears limit my top speed. But I got up to 125+ in about 15 seconds.
