Just FYI. I went to Amazon to order Watchmen Blu and Coraline. They are both listed at $20.49 for the blu-ray versions.

--And, you can buy a special Watchmen motion comic book of Watchmen or Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter DVD for just $5 with the purchase of any version of Watchmen.
I'm trying to decide if I should just buy the Blu Ray movie on Amazon (need another $5 and change), or go to BB and pick up the BR with the W:TOTBF on DVD for $5? Anybody know if there is a similar policy for the Blu Ray version of these? I'd rather have em on Blu Ray.

The flier says that it'll have the director's cut with the Tales Of The Black Freighter animated sequences edited into it. There's no concrete info about any other versions being included or excluded.

What Travis said. Although with this being a five disc set, I'd be a bit surprised if it doesn't also include the original theatrical cut; especially, since it's not on the release out this week.

I just got back from Target.

I gotta tell you that I have cut back on my disc purchases a ton lately...but I could not resist walking out of Target with the Blu-ray discs of 2001 and V for Vendetta @ $11.99 apiece.

Nice deal there, Mike.

I couldn't stop myself from ordering 2001 (for $10.49+tax) from Amazon either the other day -- to go w/ Winged Migration and a doubledip of Casino Royale SE (for just $12.99+tax).

I actually haven't learned to appreciate 2001 yet -- it's one of the few great classics that eluded me in the past -- but plan to give it another try or two and figured the BD quality might help.

OK guys, want some cheaper Blu-Rays? go to walmart online www.walmart.com/browse/Blu-ray/_/N-8pzxZaq90ZaqceZaqur/Ne-aqno
if you order a bluray and have it shipped to the store of your choice ( site to store ) shipping is free and you only pay tax.
example : bluray watchmen is $20.32 add tax of $1.22 (for mich) and free shipping thats $21.54 some of the lowest prices I have seen.

The Blu edition of 2001 friggin' rocks. The quality is truly stunning and there's a metric buttload of extra features.

Some decent deals on new releases at FYE if you don't mind dealing with the mail-in rebates:

Coraline 2-disc SE $ 20.99 (after rebate)
Coraline 1-disc $ 11.99 (after rebate)
Watchmen 1-disc $ 9.99 (after rebate)

I think the pre-rebate sale prices are generally $5-7 higher.

I ended up at BB tonight to find a birthday present for a friend of mine. Got her Pinocchio on BD...and Children of Men, American History X, Final Destination and Street Fighter on BD for me, all $14.99 each.

I should never go into an electronics store alone....

Just noticed that for the first time since the switch to Huddler I am able to see the entire grid! Thanks for getting that fixed!

I was at Target today and saw that the Jon and Kate S4 has an exclusive disc with 25 minutes of never-before-seen material. I was surprised it wasn't advertised that way.

Eric--and everyone else:

The Huddler staff has been trying to help me tweak the RoundUp for IE 6 users so they can see the entire grid and not have to do any horizontal scrolling. the real trick will be to see if I can produce a new grid tonight which incorporates those same changes!

Cross your fingers.
