Fireman Save my Child is not an Abbott and Costello movie. They were scheduled to make and started on it but when Lou fell ill it was taken over by Spike Jones.

Dance with me Henry and Noose Hangs High are owned by Warner.

But please Universal release the 28 films you own including re-releases of the out of print previous releases

Good list there. Many of these titles were very second-rate efforts, but in their heyday, their movies were quite good. I have a particular fondness for RIDE 'EM COWBOY, perhaps because I owned an excerpt of it on 8mm (Castle Films...remember those?)

I would buy any Abbott and Costello film on DVD, especially their early efforts like HOLD THAT GHOST and later classics like THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES.

In my youth, I was a great Abbott & Costello fan. Couldn't collect pop bottles (@ 2 cent return deposit rate) fast enough to earn my dime to get into their movies.
The one I long for most in DVD format is:
THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES (1946)
I hope someone at Universal is thinking about this one.

HOLD THAT GHOST and THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES were the ideal double feature on Laserdisc and would be the same on DVD.

Sounds as though an 8-title box set is due to arrive in February, including HOLD THAT GHOST, BUCK PRIVATES, RIDE 'EM COWBOY, etc.

Looks like we got an answer already. This looks like a great set. Go to www.dvddrive-in.com for the annoucement. Hopefully the rest of Universal's 28 movies will follow quickly in future sets. This is one of the best announcements for me in awhile.
Thanks alot Universal I will be in line for this and the Ma and Pa Kettle set. :emoji_thumbsup: :)
