I'll be the first to admit my taste in music is rather stagnant.
#1 - I'm an old married fart in my mid 30's & my clubbing days have long past so my exposure to new music is rather limited.
#2 - The Music Industry nowadays sucks - I just don't care much for what I am exposed to. I fucking hate Rap with a passion, same with boy bands, divas, etc. The last time I was actually excited about new music was the first few years of the grunge craze over 10 years ago.
In my defense I do have other interests in Music but when it came time to pick an artist from another music genre (An artist I really cared about that is) someone else snatched em up before me.

Now this is a tough one. I prefer the Stones to the Beatles. But I like the first two Tears for Fears albums, and Def Leppard's two biggest albums (Pyromania and Hysteria), a lot. Nothing else on either list thrills me (though there are a handful that I like). Ultimately my vote is based on hating Don Henley and Eric Clapton too much.
The Beatles - AC/DC - 1/2 Creedence Clearwater Revival - Eric Clapton - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Def Leppard -

Ric Bagoly
The Rolling Stones - 1/2 Aerosmith - Alice Cooper - Kiss - Ice-T - 1/2 Bon Jovi - Black Sabbath - Motley Crue - Steppenwolf - Dokken - :star: Spinal Tap - Danny Elfman -
Tough call! Dome doesn't have any I particularly dislike, but Ric sticks closer to my tastes. So, despite the fact that the bastard stole Dokken from me...
Looks like I'll have to break the tie between Ric and Dome. Ric wins because the music is a bit heavier, but not too thrilled with some of his picks.
