Just curious, but why'd we bother nominating stuff? Why not just have everyone send in their top 100 to begin with?

Anyway, I sent my list. If you want them ranked, I'll redo it. At first I thought it would be hard to get as many as 100, but once I had it narrowed down to 111, it was tough deciding which 11 to get rid of. Still, there's a lot more movies here that I'm lukewarm on than I would be for a list from, say, the 50's or 60's. I guess the 80's was kind of a dud decade overall, although there are quite a few gems.

Where's Empire of the Sun? The rest of the Disney movies? not that it matters I imagine, but Empire of the Sun is a huge omission. also, when Harry Met Sally is on there twice. also missing is The Great Outdoors.

no this is a great idea! I just like whining a bit cause I didn't see the nomination thread. :p I might have put Black Cauldron on my list instead of Teen Wolf (my #100), but geez, which is worse? or another set of which is more bad? Always or Superman II (my #99)? :p

One thing is for sure about the 80s, there were a lot of great comedies that decade.

Teen Wolf is a comedy... right?
