Subwoofer connection (1 Viewer)

When connecting a subwoofer VIA rca input/output, does it have to be a subwoofer cable or can you use any old rca cable?

Any old RCA cable will work. Video (yellow) cables tend to be better shielded than audio (red or black) cables so you'd be less likely to encounter problems like buzzing or static if you use either a sub or a video cable.
