I have the Bose with my 03 Altima. Is the amp between the rears just for those or all the speakers and could i upgrade just the rears and amp?

On my 96 maxima each Bose speaker had a small amp on the back of it, minus the tweeters up front.

It is most likely possible to upgrade just the rears with a new amp but you may ned some sort of adapter. Crutchfield would know what to get.

Is there something wrong with the current sound? Not loud enough?

A little louder/cleaner bass would be good.
