Bose 900 Soundbar only gets LPCM 2.0 (1 Viewer)

I have tried the suggestion made to activate eARC. I have also reset my LG TV, Bose 900 soundbar, and the Bose music app. In addition, I have switched cables. But I still get only LPCM 2.0. I guess the saving grace is that Bose Truespace technology simulates multichannel audio. Does anyone have further suggestions?

Which model LG do you have? Are you certain it has eARC? Are you certain you have at least a certified 18Gb/s hdmi cable?

I have an lg C1. Yes, it does have eARC and it is activated. Cables are certified.
