A lot of the shows you mentioned have come out. Maude, Grady, Starman, Man From Atlantis, Misfits of Science. Where do you get your list from?

I'm definitely in for Misfits of Science, but I can't seem to find a USA release for it.

With Empty Nest*, you'd think they would have tried at least a season 1 release by now, but no. Nothing. The Golden Palace is also MIA. Over the past 30 years, Disney has become more and more like a high school where only the mean girls can get a decent education, and you can see that in what they do and do not release, and in the stratification of what they do release: only the absolute best-sellers and franchises get any kind of attention anymore. Maybe they don't think the later years will sell since it fell to the bottom of the ratings basement once it was the last one standing of the Extended Golden Girls Universe after Nurses ended without ever really finding an identity.

Silver Spoons will probably happen, and probably from Shout!, once they can clear everything that can be cleared. The music used in the show is enough to make a difference on the budget sheets, and you can't let the Menudo and Whitney Houston episodes out with scenes and songs missing. Nor any of Joel Higgins' songs.** The question is whether it will be all at once like The Facts of Life and the upcoming One Day at a Time set (with only 5 seasons, it would be a bit less pricey) or 1-2 at a time like Diff'rent Strokes and Webster.***

The continued absence of Knots Landing**** and St. Elsewhere***** is unforgivable at this point, but hopefully the waits will ultimately be worth it.

*Richard Mulligan's marriage to porn performer Rachel Ryan, which began on my 9th birthday, didn't even outlast it!
**Higgins also wrote an M&M's jingle around the same time. Several years into a future that is by now the past, I recall some internet parodist refered to Eminem "a cartoon version of Rick Schroder from Silver Spoons".
***I'm taking bets on which of those finishes first. Season 5 of Webster is the only season with Corin Nemec. Speaking of which...
****Which would have a gazillion Emmys if MTM Productions had made it.
*****Which everyone in America would have watched if Lorimar had made it.
