Just received and watched today. This has always been one of my favorite sci-fi movies, saw it first-run in the theaters about 4 times, bought the soundtrack LP, etc. Owned the first 2015 Paramount blu-ray release, and was disappointed. Out of focus in the opening scene after the credits , and too much muddiness thereafter. The Arrow release corrects much of this stuff, but still doesn't quite recreate what I remember seeing on the silver screen. Many sequences have crystal clarity, others devolve into too much grain. Still, I'm happy to have this new transfer. Love Bruce Dern, the Joan Baez songs, and the mostly cool special effects. And I ALWAYS cry at the end.

Undoubtably superior to the Eureka MOC Region-B from 2011 as well.
