Sacd Hookup Question (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Am thinking about buying a SACD player soon, can i connect the 5 channel output on the player to the EXT Decoder input on my Yamaha reciever?

Peter - the short answer is: YES.
The long answer is: YES!
In fact, it's the only way to hook up a multichannel SACD player to any receiver. So go ahead and buy that player, you're sure to love it!

Peter, out of curiosity, which SACD player are you looking to buy?

most likley the Sony SCD-CE775, it is in my price range and i was in the market for a new CD player anyway so i figured i'd get one that also played SACD's
