I'm embarrassed to ask, but what should I be looking for in a progressive scan player? I see some for near $1000 and others near $250, what's the deal? I'm JVC phobic, so who else makes a good, affordable model?

A Real Popular model Is the Panasonic rp56.
In fact I just got one (although The wife won't let me play with it till X-mas)

Dan, I have a RP56 for sale if you are interested. I have played less then 10 DVDs on it so its in mint condition.
