Doe any one know or how can I find out the power in Watts of a Tanberg Power Amplifier model 3006A from the early 1980's.

I want to use it for a SVS subwoofer.

Please provide a web site or something.

According to my October 1986 Audio Annual Equipment Directory the 3006A was rated at 150 watts continuous average at 8-ohms. There was no spec given for 4-ohms.
I knew these old magazines would prove useful someday. :D

Wayne,

Thanks so much for the info.

Do you know if I should use a preamp with the SVS sppeaker or the amp is enough.
