I'd be up for a chick flix challenge since I'm one. :P Christmas challenge sounds good. My favourite would be a Sci-Fi/Fantasy even though some of us included sci-fi in the horror challenge.

I'm missing the Scary Movie Challenge already myself. Next year maybe it can be called the "Halloween Viewing Challenge" to capture anything that puts one in a Halloween frame of mind.

I am too! It's weird to watch a movie and not run off to the PC to add it to a list!

Great job to the top three! I'm booking off the month of October next year so I can win ALL THE MOOOOOOOVIES!

This years challenge was the joy that past challenges rarely captured. Can't wait for next year!

I agree. I really enjoyed reading everyones viewing selections, and luckily the new films I got turned out to be mostly enjoyable.
My only regret is that I didn't get to my new Universal Mosnters Blu-Ray set. I could have chose individuals, but I want to watch all of them marathon style. Toward the end I got busy with work, and time just wasn't on my side. But next year they willl be first viewings guranteed!

http://www.randomizer.org/form.htm is a good site for stuff like this. Easy to setup and no question about method.
That said, I officially remove my name from prize awarding and pass my 3rd place prize to whoever got 4th. If that's a problem just put it in the pot for the random draws.
Thanks for running the challenge this year! As always, it was great fun reading everyone's film comments, etc.

Here's my final count, I just didn't manage to update before today. I must have miscounted earlier, since I added 6 more movies and somehow 24 only turned into 29.
I inexplicably kept falling asleep trying to watching things over the last 3-4 days of the challenge so I ended up with 29 movies watched, and 31 points overall.

No problem. If you get a chance watch Bogliano's 36 Steps (36 Pasos) which has the energy and craziness of a Takashi Miike film.

Will do Sandro. I didn't like Penumbra as much though. It had a good buildup, but the payoff was underwhelming. Also, it was pretty disappointing not to see more skin.

I demand a recount!
;)
Seriously, congratulations to all of the winners and to everyone who participated. It was again a lot of fun. I got in more new viewings this year, but like past years, I wish I had watched more never-before-viewed films. In my case I believe that that is what the rest of the year will be for, since I watch so many of the same films with my family each year during the month of October.

I was thinking exactly the same. :(
I'd suggest, flipping the coin ... you call! :)

Radioman,
Actually, if any numbers are fudged, those would be mine. I wasn't entirely sure of how to count up my television episodes, so my Grand Total is most likely higher than it ought to be. It doesn't really matter though, as I'm not at the top-of-the-pack. :)

I definitely consider 92 and 92.1 a tie.
When it comes to stuff like that, the .1 and .2 is just half hour TV stuff.
It's a tie to me too.

Definitely. And at this point I'd like to settle it with arm wrestling. But that would require a long bus trip I'm sure... :(

Well, if there were something to settle, I'd prefer we do it with a double-elimination jiu-jitsu match instead. ;)

That's the politically correct version of "Indian Leg Wrestling"?
