^ Do you really think that the core of what he said is wrong? I'm not saying that it's the most polite response that I've ever read but it's still true.
This is toooooo good to be true.DVD releases
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has released the first 4 seasons of NYPD Blue on DVD in Region 1, 2 and 4. All of the sets contain the original master recordings, the original ABC broadcasts, and custom-made credits. After the release of the fourth season in 2006, Fox announced that they would be reviewing the possibility of further releases, citing the lack of sales. To date in Regions 1 and 4, there have been no further DVD releases, and it is not known if Fox still retains the rights to the show, as it also no longer retains two other Bochco properties, Hill Street Blues and L. A. Law.
In Region 2, Mediumrare has acquired the rights to release the show on DVD in the United Kingdom and plans to release the remaining eight seasons to DVD between December 2012 and April 2013.
I wouldn't bet on it.Sam Favate said:Very interesting. If there are plans to release the remaining seasons in the UK, I wonder if there are any for the US.
Dave? Gord? You guys hear anything about this?
I may be over in Orlando in June next summer on vacation - I may accidentaly leave a few copies lying in our apartmentSam Favate said:Very envious here in the US!

Shout Factory has picked up the license for the show, so hopefully we can expect future seasons as well!
