Here's hoping. I need a new desktop. I'm waiting for a refreshed or updated iMac. Next Spring were the last rumors.

Is it telling that Tim Cook mentioned the iMac but not the Mac Pro?

Is it telling that Tim Cook mentioned the iMac but not the Mac Pro?

It is hard to take anything he says seriously in regards to future products. This was a press release intentionally released as an email to employees. If we actually had working journalists anymore someone might have called him on it rather than just regurgitate the email.

“Some folks in the media have raised the question about whether we’re committed to desktops,” Cook wrote. “If there’s any doubt about that with our teams, let me be very clear: we have great desktops in our roadmap. Nobody should worry about that.”

Mr. Cook are you that delusional? "Some folks in the media?" No. How about "many Apple users" instead? The "media" is just picking up on what a lot of people are saying.
