I've got a Motorola DCT 6416 HD Convertor Box with a DVR. How can I do an anamorphic transfer of HD programs from the DVR to my DVD recorders? I've got four to chose from:

JVC DRMX-1S
Panasonic DMR HS-2
Panasonic DMR EH75 VS
Toshiba RD XS52

All I need is to hook up one but I really need specifics on using the Set Up menus to get the best results. So far I've been unsuccessful. I can transfer letterbox but not anamorphic. Thanks in advance to all who reply & help me out.

You probably can't, with the current equipment. The problem is that the Motorola doesn't offer a 16:9 output option over S-video. You'd need a DVD-R with component input (e.g. Philips).

Remember, even if you do accomplish it, the image will be going through two conversions -- Digital to analog, then back to digital.
