Ok, so I want to start getting local channels through my DirecTV receiver. Here is my current setup:

Location: Las Vegas
Receiver: RCA UltimateTV w/2 inputs
Current Dish: RCA 18" with single LNB (two connections for UTV)

Apparently, I need the 24" elliptical dish for local channels, according to the DirecTV site. Am I going to need 2 LNB's or just the one? If I do need 2 LNB's, how do I hook it up with my receiver that only has two satellite inputs?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Oh, forgot: I am NOT receiving any HDTV signals and do not plan on for now.

The 24 inch dish comes with 2 LNBs - one for Sat A at 101 degrees and one for Sat B at 119, where your locals will be. The newer oval dishes come with a multiswitch installed, so your receiver won't have any problems with it. When you do decide to go to HDTV you'll have the dish already - just insert a third LNB into the hole in the middle.

If your receiver is a DirecTivo, then ignore the dish pointing coordinates on screen. They are way off for the eliptical dish. I used Link Removed and found a signal in less than five minutes.
