Need a very fast response (1 Viewer)

I already have the Ventriloquists on order but they haven't shipped yet. Should I cancel and get the JBL NS-P1II or keep the hsu verntriloquist vt-12. I don't understand why the sats on the ventriloquist are 1 way. But after hearing so much great stuff about HSU I decided to get then. This will be going in a dorm. So which set should I get?

Can you get the NSP1 set from Best Buy and try them out w/ the Hsu and then decide? Then just send back/ take back the ones you don't want? If you can't do that, I personally would lean toward the JBLs because it's at least a 2-way system and a proven performer around here. Although I'm sure the Hsu speakers are fine, since Hsu only puts out quality products.
