Movie Title? (1 Viewer)

I'm wondering if it may be possible to identify a movie I saw on a local PBS station a few years ago. It was some University class supplement show, and it featured movies mostly from the 1940's, as I recall.

I don't remember anything about the movie, except that everybody talked very fast. I realize that is almost zilch to go on, but are there any classic movies that are known for really rapid-fire dialogue? I think the whole movie was like that.

The three movies that come to my mind when I think of rapid-fire dialog are His Girl Friday (1940), The Awful Truth (1937) and Adam's Rib (1949).
