Mistresses (US Version) on DVD? - Why has ABC not released the three seasons on DVD? (1 Viewer)

The US version of Mistresses has been airing on ABC for 3 seasons since June 2013. It has starred big TV names like Alisa Milano and Jennifer Espito. Why haven't they released at least the first season on DVD? Yet they release poor rated cancelled tv shows like The Lying Game.


Anybody has any idea?

It's a lower-profile summer show, is all I can guess. Not a lot of publicity so a lot of people aren't even aware of it. I'd buy a dvd should they choose to pay attention to it.

Not every show on TV gets released on DVD or BR.

The company needs to believe they can make money off the show. There are several shows I would love to have, but the larger audience just isn't there I guess.

Releasing this stuff is a business, not a hobby. Unfortunately.

Some shows you just have to be content with keeping your home recordings of. That's why they invented DVD recorders.
