Well I am looking to automate my lighting and would like some input on what direction to go.
I currently have 3 x-10 wall switches so if it is easier I will go that direction, What do I need to control them? I currently do not have a universal remote but plan on getting one in the near future, I would like to be able to dim or turn off 3 or 4 zones and turn on back lighting behind the TV.

Thanks

I think that X-10 has dimmer modules and a remote from Harmony controls anything that accepts an IR remote signal.

I believe any remote with a "Z chip" will power a lighting system using X-10. If its what I'm thinking of my dad got certified to install it here in Arkansas and he was told they could be controlled by MOST new Universal Remotes.
