HDMI Signal Split (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have a Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver. It has only 1 HDMI output. I want to connect a second TV to the HDMI output. I tried a HDMI splitter and the picture is degraded on one TV and the other TV has picture but no sound. It is a passive non-powered splitter. If I unplug and reconnect the cables, it will sometime work properly. Reviews of the powered HDMI splitters are mixed. Any help is appreciated.

Check out the HDMI spliters from Monoprice. I use a 4 in/2 out HDM matrix switch box.
