Look, you won't get absolutely everything you had with cable. Honestly, though, it is a good trade-off. I found myself not minding the wait to rent or buy my favorite shows that weren't readily available for streaming. I collect blu-rays and dvds of my favorite shows anyway. Here's something that might make you feel better. I left cable for a year, only keeping their high-speed internet. I eventually recieved a letter begging me to come back, offering a killer bundle price which they guaranteed for 12 months. I jumped on it. Now, if it goes up after this period, I'll simply dump them again, because I've learned I CAN live without it. Then again, I'm not a huge sports fan, and that's what a lot of people miss.

I guess my biggest concern is history channel on hulu. I guess I thought pretty much all shows go to hulu next day or so

Think of it this way... is any one, or even a few channels worth as much as you pay monthly for cable? If you can stand standard definition, drop down to basic if they offer History.
