I will still reserve judgement on this until I have seen it - the review at bluray.com indicates it is a decent transfer even with some color problems - compared to some lesser titles I have viewed I'm sure it will be quite watchable. My problem is being spoiled using a projector which is why I am looking forward to Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines and Bye Bye Birdie from Twilight Time and some the Marylin Monroe films that are upcoming - I can't seem to get enough of older movies that are filmed in the 2:35 format or larger.

Very entertaining film, and still very passable in terms of the video quality. Anyone with a projector setup will notice enough of an upgrade over the dvd to find purchasing this blu ray well worth it. It could have been better of course but there is certainly enough detail and overall improvement that I am glad I have copy.
