Hi! I found some DVI cables recently for a pretty good price, only problem is though, is that they were in the computer section. Are these the same type of DVI cables used for HDTVs, or are they something else?!

Alan,

I think there are two type of DVI cables DVD-D and DVI-I. The DVI-I passes analog and digital signals. The DVD-D only handles digital ones. You'll need to make sure you have the right cable for your setup. The connection is capable of 1820x1080 pixels and can optionally handle Analog VESA video.
