Hi all,
I'm a Nubee here and have been quietly reading hundreds of posts, learning as much as I can before I ask for help.
I wanted to say hello and maybe help some of you as well. Anyone looking for MDF, try a local cabinet shop for discarded MDF.
I checked one last night and scored A TRUCK LOAD OF MDF. It is all 3/4" cabinet grade and range in size from 1/4 sheet to 1/3 sheet. I have enough for several projects and it was all free!!!!!!

I talked to the owner and he told me they cut everything on a CNC router. All pieces left from a sheet are discarded no matter the size. Every job starts with a new sheet.

So............. check those dumpsters!!!

the best is going to a construction site and seeing if they have any 23 foot sono tubes left over, heck you don't need that much and the way they use it theres bound to be left overs
